TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Getplotted.com provide a membership subscription service. The service provides you with an online course on the topic of creative writing, a number of software tools to help you create your novels, and storage space on our webservers for as long as you continue your subscription. The tools are described in detail on other parts of this website (GetPlotted.com). Your initial storage allowance on our servers is approximately 1 megabyte, more than enough in our opinion for a novel. While Getplotted.com will make every reasonable effort to provide a smooth and consistent service, we can take no responsibility for events outside our control that may interrupt your access to the website or the integrity of your data on our servers. Transient internet conditions, for example, may limit your ability to access the site at certain times, and should this occur, you understand that there is little or nothing we can do in those sort of circumstances, although we will, of course, use our best endeavours to correct any problems. Internet servers also occassionally develop faults, and this may affect the data you have stored on the GetPlotted.com website. Although our webservers are thoroughly backed up every night, we can take no responsibility for the integrity or safety of your data and stories, and for this reason we recommend you backup your work at regular intervals by cutting and pasting your stories from the website into documents stored locally on your own computer, or by using the 'backup' facility, which sends you a copy of your story by email. This kind of precaution is normal, and in fact you should apply the same principle to ANY remote work you do, not just your work on GetPlotted.com. GetPlotted.com's products and services are all electronic, and for this reason we do not offer refunds in any circumstances, as there is effectively no way for you to 'return' the goods and services. This applies also if you purchase a 'gift voucher' for another person - it is your responsibility to ensure they either already have a Paypal account, or can sign up for one, because use of the voucher requires the recipient of the voucher to create a Paypal subscription (even though there may be a free element paid for by you). If you cancel your subscription, your access to the site will end on the 6 monthly anniversary of your signup. It is your own responsibility to have downloaded and saved your work before this occurs. We reserve the right to terminate any membership at any time for any reason we choose, including (but not limited to) failure to pay subscription charges. We reserve the right to remove or delete material from the website if, in our opinion, it is illegal. We will always try to give you warning if we decide to either terminate your account or delete any of your work, but you understand that sometimes this may be impractical (for example, if you have specified an inaccurate email contact address, or neglected to set your email spam filters to accept GetPlotted.com emails, you may miss warning messages). This of course, is not our fault either, and we accept no responsibility for it.
Generally, we will do our very best to ensure that you have fast and easy access to the GetPlotted.com website and your data therein, and promise to deal with any questions or problems you have in a responsive, professional way.
The figure of 14p per day is based on a standard initial subscription at £99, and a renewal for 6 months at £49.99 .
